George Barnes (priest)
George Barnes, DD (11 December 1782 - 29 Jun 1847) was Archdeacon of Barnstaple〔"Memorials of Barnstaple; being an attempt to supply the want of a history of that ancient borough" Gribble, J.B: Barnstaple, J.Avery, 1830〕 from 1830 to 1847.〔'Deaths' Jackson's Oxford Journal (Oxford, England), Saturday, July 31, 1847; Issue 4918〕
A Graduate of Exeter College, Oxford,〔"Alumni oxonienses: the members of the University of Oxford, 1715-1886; their parentage, birthplace and year of birth, with a record of their degrees.
